Our daily bread and sweet stamping challenges

My mentor Angie sent me the link to the Our Daily Bread website and we knew immediately that we have to get our hands on those beautiful verses!   I for one have been looking around for stamps with Bible verses and I know Angie make cards for her church (she does have some Bible verses stamps) but those available at Our Daily Bread are "must have"!

In no time, our shopping card is completed filled with stamps!   Though we like them all, we have to practice restraint, that is why Angie suggested that I make a card for their this week's challenge : Vintage.   My forte is definitely not in making vintage card, as I like all colours bright and brilliant.   I struggled and finally came up with the card and it is for the following challenges :

1.  Our Daily Bread - Vintage

2.  Sweet Stamping Challenge Blog - Vintage

Here is my card :

Materials used :

1.   Precious moments Angel stamp from Stampendous  and coloured with distress inks, sentiments stamp stampabilities, inked with vintage photo and embossed with stampendous clear embossing powder

2.   Pattern paper : DCWV the music stack and Tim Holtz idea-ology paper stack, vintage shabby and DCWV cardstock

3.  Pearls : Prima

4.   Flowers : Wild orchid crafts

5.  The Angel and sentiment mounting has been generously sprayed with Sprity shimmerz - gold.

Thanks for dropping by :-)
