Trust in the Lord with all your heart

Here is another card which I made for the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge 114 - "use of of your oldest stamp sets which you have not used for a while".  This must be one of the first ODB stamps I bought since my mentor Angie introduced them to me.   I have been messy and very disorganized with all my stash, so after this, I really have to sit down and get my stuff organized. So for now, a very simple card, made with no embellishments and ribbons, just a frame for the sentiments.

Materials used :
1.  ODB stamps
2.  Pattern paper : Bo Bunny garden girl collection, card stock : local bookstore
3.  Cheery Lynn dainty dutch deco frame

Thanks for dropping by :-)

The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?

I am getting some of my sanity back, and with the part-time domestic help coming in to clean the house, I have more time to create.   I hope to make some layout pages soon, but for now, here is a card I made for the Our Daily Bread Design sketch 83 - I did not follow the sketch entirely though.
Materials used :
1.  ODBD stamps for both the sentiments and background
2.  Pattern paper : sei, cardstock : American crafts
3.  Spellbinders nesties
4.  Lace : American crafts
5.  Flowers : Wild orchid and Thailand
6.  Ribbon : HK

Be Still and know that I am GOD

It has been a while since I last make a card.   My package of Christmas stamps and Cheery Lynn dies and I decided to make this card for the Our Daily Bread Designs stamping in time challenge -SNTODBD 47 - my favorite scripture.   Be Still and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10 has always been my favorite scripture verse.  More often than not, I am too caught up with my own troubles and problems that I forgot to cast all my worries to God, this verse, will always remind me of the need to be still, to drop all worries and frustrations and know that He is God.

Materials used :
1.  ODBD stamp : Be still and know that I am God
2.  Pattern paper : Sei sunny day, Cosmo cricket garden variety, cardstock : American crafts
3.  MS punch
4.  Cheery Lynn doily dies - french pastry
5.  Ribbon - American crafts

Thanks a bunch

Gosh it has been a month since I last made a card, I have been pretty busy these couple of months, and I just came back from a two weeks trip to Paris and London, spending time with the girls, as they had been busy with summer internship and I did not get to spend much time with them over their summer break.

I had a great time in Paris, and visiting Monet's garden and museum in Giverny was the highlight of the trip.   I wish I could spend more time there.

I came back from London 3 days ago to a surprised package from a friend in the US.  The package cheered me tremendously and I made this card for her, thanks a bunch Grace :-). This card is also for the Peachy Keen challenge sketch 62.
Materials used :
1.  Peachy Keen stamps
2.  Pattern paper : Prima marketing sweet fairy collection, AC cardstock
3.  MS punch
4.  KCK die
5.  Ribbon and satin flowers : bought from HK

Thanks for dropping by and I hope to have more cards to show over the next few weeks.
