Magnolia stamp lovers - paper piecing

I am so thrilled to have won the Magnolia Stamp lovers challenge 14, thanks so much for MSL!!

I have the most interesting card to show everyone today which I am entering for  Magnolia stamp lovers current challenge - paper piecing and I have plenty of fun putting this easel card together.  When I was putting the concept together, Liz told me : oh mummy this card is so daddy and you, you just sat there and pout and daddy is trying to pacify you (the difference is daddy will buy flowers, and here Edwin is pacifying Tilda with a heart shape balloon.   Well Vincent is a sweet guy, he does try to cheer/pacify me all the time, thanks honey :-)

With paper piecing I just used what ever left over pieces of pattern paper I have in my stash, ink with the image and cut out which ever part I want to use, mostly articles of clothings and shoes, but for this card, I used the piecing technic extensively, on everything I could avoid colouring, except the hair and skin.

Here is my card for the Magnolia Stamp Lovers - paper piecing :-

Tilda's ribbon, tutu dress and shoes are cut out from the same pattern paper.  The couch and the lace overing are also done with paper piecing.   I used a paper doily sprayed with tattered angel glimmer mist and used part of it as a carpet.

Edwin's vest and ballon are both done with paper piecing technics

I left the card empty for personal message

Materials used :

1.   Maganolia stamps, loving Edwin, Pink Tilda Ice/Ballet Princess and sofa coloured with copics and paper piece with various pattern paper.

2.   clear sentiments clear stamp (I can't remember which brand)

3.  EK corner and heart punches

4.  Pattern paper and cardstock : DCWV

5.  Flowers : Wild Orchid Crafts

6.  Pearls : Kaiser

7.  Ribbon from stash

Thanks for dropping by :-)
