Wishing you all God's blessings today and every day

A friend spoke to me about how I always enthuse about yoga online and I feel the need to clarify that yoga to me is purely a form of exercise, just like some people are into jogging, body combat, boxing, etc.  I choose to do yoga because of all the health benefits I get when I am practicing.    Last week, I advanced from shoulder stand to head stand with the help of my instructor and I felt great after I did the head stand which has numerous benefits, one of which is increases circulation to the brain, which causes improved brain function.

Before I go on to the project I just made, I have a piece of good news to share : I am so thrilled to have won the Stamping Sisters in Christ challenge #87!

Now on to the box I made for my dear friend Flo whose birthday was on May 1st, but we are only meeting on monday.   I made the box a while ago, following the instructions by Becca of Amazing Paper Grace but this instructions was posted on Our daily bread designs blog.

I am entering this box for Stamping Sisters in Christ Challenge #88

Challenge: Make a card and put all things "beautiful" on it, such as flowers, pearls, bling, butterflies, birds, lace, etc.

I made a box instead of a card as I bought Flo a couple of stamps and they would fit nicely into the compartments in the box.  Every single thing I used on this box is beautiful, the most beautiful being the sequined ribbon which I bought from Hong Kong.
I love these beautiful sequined ribbon

These are the compartments for the stamps I bought for Flo, thanks Becca for the really good idea :-)

Materials used :

1.  Stamp : ODBD
2.  Pattern paper : Webster's page
3.  Butterflies : K & Company
4.  Flowers and pearls : Wild Orchid
5.  Spellbinders nestie
6.  Ribbons : Hong Kong

Happiness Always

I created a happiness always card for myself, to remind myself that I have to be happy at all times, and not to let anything weigh me down!  I am usually a very positive person and I do not like the feeling of being down.   To me, the glass is always half full instead of half empty, my painting teacher Astrid calls me Mrs Optimistic :-)

This card is for the Card pattern sketch 113 which is such an awesome sketch.

Materials used :

1.  Happiness always stamp : stampin up (a gift from my dear friend and shifu (mentor), Angie
2.  Pattern Paper : DCWV, card stock DCWV
3.  Spellbinders nestie
4.  Magnolia dies
5.  MS punch
6.  Flower and ribbons : Hong Kong
